FIRE AND ICE IN DURHAM 2024

Fire & ice - durham 2024

Hepple Hill Cottage may be on the edge of Edmundbyres Common in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty but it is also a mere 30 minute drive from the cultural centre of the North East – Durham City.

In February ice sculptures and flame displays will be taking centre stage in Durham city.

Fire and Ice Durham 2024 takes place on Thursday 23rd February and Friday 24th February. This event takes place every year and there are usually 10 ice sculptures to find in the city centre.

The event is on all day starting at 10am but it probably makes sense to get there at the start while the ice sculptures are at their best. It is a free event and there will be the opportunity to have a go at ice sculpting .
